Purmerend, 13 November 2025 – FacilityApps, the leading developer of digital solutions for cleaning companies, today announces a strategic collaboration in the form of a joint venture with Cleaning Workx, specialist in Virtual Reality training for cleaners. This alliance enables both companies to expand their services in the Netherlands and internationally and to offer the most innovative solutions for the cleaning industry.
Digitalisation is accelerating in the cleaning sector
The collaboration between FacilityApps and Cleaning Workx comes at a time when the cleaning industry faces major challenges. Staff shortages, ageing supervisors and trainers, different nationalities and the accompanying language and cultural barriers, rising costs and increasing quality requirements make digitalisation indispensable. By combining their areas of expertise, these Dutch software companies are developing practical solutions that respond directly to the daily reality of cleaning businesses.
